Building strong foundations for better movement, function and lifelong resilience.
Personalised chiropractic care that looks beyond the symptoms to understand how your body moves, functions and adapts.
Getting to know Katie
Katie founded Valla Health Collective with a simple vision: to create a more connected, proactive approach to healthcare.
After seeing too many people seek treatment only when pain or injury begins limiting their lives, she wanted to create a space where care goes beyond managing symptoms.
Inspired by the idea of building strong foundations, Katie believes that when we better understand and support how our bodies function, we're better equipped to navigate the physical demands of everyday life, recover from setbacks and continue doing the things we love.
Collaborative, patient-centred healthcare
Katie believes the best healthcare is collaborative, with patients actively involved in understanding their bodies and making informed decisions about their care.
She takes the time to listen, explain her findings and develop realistic treatment plans that reflect each person's lifestyle, goals and stage of life.
Recognising that chiropractic care is often one piece of a bigger picture, Katie also works alongside physiotherapists, myotherapists, exercise physiologists, integrative GPs, podiatrists, nutritionists, and other health professionals when additional support is needed.
Her priority is helping patients access the right care, not simply more care.
Katie's approach to chiropractic care
Katie looks beyond the area of pain to understand how the body functions as a whole.
Her approach considers the relationship between joint mobility, muscular control, nervous system function, stability and movement patterns, identifying factors that may be contributing to pain, restriction or recurring injuries.
Combining hands-on chiropractic care, movement assessment, rehabilitation and practical education, Katie creates personalised treatment plans that address immediate concerns while helping patients build stronger foundations for long-term movement and function.
Areas of care
Katie supports patients across all ages and stages of life, from children and expectant mothers to active adults and those navigating the physical changes that come with ageing.
Treatment is tailored to the individual and may incorporate chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques, dry needling, movement assessment and rehabilitation exercises where appropriate.
